Let's talk a little about how · Cha Dao · The Way of Tea can transform your entire life, shall we?
First of all, Zen is interlaced in every drop of Tea that we taste in the light of Cha Dao. Let's be clear that Zen mentioned here is not a religion － there are certainly transmutation throughout the centuries, notably Zen Buddhism － but a state of mind. There is no label, no -ism or name to this state. You feel it. You understand it. And you become it.
But let us all be clear too, that when we come together and drink Tea in ceremony, we are undoubtedly forging a spiritual connection with Tea. Thus, the walking of the Way begins.
The Dao ripples out to every aspect of our lives because it courses through us. It is the flow of the Universe. It is our true natural state of being. It reminds us that, like the bowls we use for Tea, we are a vessel that needs to be emptied to let more in. We are reminded that, like the water that flows into the teapot, we are and can be formless, flowing without resistance, dancing with the poetry of the Dao.
